The Total Lunar Eclipse of 1927 Dec 08 is visible from the following geographic regions:

The instant of greatest eclipse takes place on 1927 Dec 08 at 17:35:10 TD (17:34:46 UT1). This is 1.7 days after the Moon reaches perigee. During the eclipse, the Moon is in the constellation Taurus. The synodic month in which the eclipse takes place has a Brown Lunation Number of 61.

The eclipse belongs to Saros 124 and is number 44 of 73 eclipses in the series. All eclipses in this series occur at the Moon’s ascending node. The Moon moves southward with respect to the node with each succeeding eclipse in the series and gamma decreases.

The total lunar eclipse of 1927 Dec 08 is followed two weeks later by a partial solar eclipse on 1927 Dec 24.

These eclipses all take place during a single eclipse season.
