The Penumbral Lunar Eclipse of 1933 Feb 10 is visible from the following geographic regions:

The instant of greatest eclipse takes place on 1933 Feb 10 at 13:17:35 TD (13:17:12 UT1). This is 6.7 days after the Moon reaches apogee. During the eclipse, the Moon is in the constellation Leo. The synodic month in which the eclipse takes place has a Brown Lunation Number of 125.

The eclipse belongs to Saros 103 and is number 82 of 82 eclipses in the series. Thus, the 1933 Feb 10 event is the last eclipse of the series . All eclipses in this series occur at the Moon’s descending node. The Moon moves northward with respect to the node with each succeeding eclipse in the series and gamma increases.

This is a very shallow penumbral eclipse. It has a penumbral eclipse magnitude of only 0.0184 and a penumbral eclipse duration of 39.8 minutes. Gamma has a value of 1.5600.

The penumbral lunar eclipse of 1933 Feb 10 is followed two weeks later by a annular solar eclipse on 1933 Feb 24.

Another lunar eclipse occurs one synodic month after the 1933 Feb 10 eclipse. It is the penumbral lunar eclipse of 1933 Mar 12.

These eclipses all take place during a single eclipse season.
